Kojonup Equestrian Club 2015 Autumn Breed Show

On the 15th March 2015 Kojonup Equestrian Club held its annual Autumn Breed Show at the Kojonup Show Grounds. With a 71% increase in entries compared to 2014 it turned out to be a great show.

The committee worked really hard this year securing enough sponsorship to cover each class. Securing $2930.00 in sponsorship, including cash for Champion winners and goods for Reserve Champions, it ensured that our winners wouldn’t go home empty handed.

79 horses in total attended the show and they didn’t hold back in their presentation, considering most competitors were washing horses in the rain the day before. We had three extra classes this year, Appaloosa, Shetland and Western. We were also blessed to have the Great Southern Branch of the Australian Stockhorse Society come on board and host a ASH Spectacular, which was held in ring three with many classes including Progeny, Working Stockhorse and Working Polocrosse to name a few. It was a beautiful sight seeing all the Stockhorse competitors in their finery.
